SUGPAT conducts Technical Working Group with ALS Implementers in Dipolog City
To prepare for the upcoming training for Zamboanga del Norte ALS Implementers, a Technical Working Group Meeting and Writeshop on Contextualization of Life Skills Modules was conducted in the Division Office, Department of Education at Zamboanga del Norte last April 9 and 10, 2019.
The two-day meeting was attended by the Zamboanga del Norte Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, ALS Focal Person, Education Program Specialists for ALS and IPEd, Faculty of the School of Education of Ateneo de Zamboanga University and the SUGPAT Education Team.
The meeting was led by Training Officer, Rogin Christ Eribal and was facilitated by the coordinator of the Educational Leadership Development Program of Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Dr. Anita Tagadiad and assisted by AdZU professor Sarah Mae Ismael-Jikiri.
They presented the alignment of competencies in the Life Skills Modules and Alternative Learning Curricula.
The meeting was also in preparation for the writing of activity-based worksheets that will be rolled out this school year for ALS learners in the Zamboanga del Norte province.
The Technical Working Group Meeting served as a simulation for the bigger event “Power For Youth: A Training of ALS Implementers on the Delivery of Life Skills Modules,” which was participated by 120 ALS Implementers from Zamboanga del Norte.
