“Roginwas born and grew up in Siocon –  a small town in Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. He came to Zamboanga City to finish his tertiary education in Ateneo de Zamboanga University with a degree in Elementary Education.

Right after graduating from college, Rogin became a regional intern at World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific – a global coalition of young people dedicated to promote and defend the dignity of the human person – where he headed a formative and educational project in SOS Children’s Villages Philippines.

Aside from finally getting his license as a Professional Teacher, Rogin’s purpose of coming back to Zamboanga was to continue answering his call to serve the youth in the city.”

“Giana works part time as a television host for Vez TV – Vale el Zamboanga, under Sky Cable Productions. Her shows include the Bagpack Segment, a show that features the scenic and tourist spots in Zamboanga Cityand Chavaca-KNOW!

The Chavaca-KNOW is a street-smart type of show she created and conceptualized in the year 2014that aims to test how well Zamboangeños know the meaning of deep Chavacano words, which is the main language of the city.

She also worked at Convergys in Cebu City and Floor Directed the 35thSinulogFestival, under the production of Sky Cable Cebu.

She graduated in Ateneo de Zamboanga University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication in the year 2014.”

” Ya Al was born in Jolo, Sulu. Graduated from Western Mindanao State University with a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Sanitary Engineering.

Worked with HDES as Assistant Community Facilitator under Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and was part of Sugpat 1.0 Arts for Development.

At present, he is the SUGPAT Admin Officer/Community Organizer for SUGPAT Alternative Learning System for Peacebuilding and the Arts.”

Jenny Falcatan-Morano

FINANCE OFFICER | Office Support Staff – Ateneo Centre for Culture and the Arts  

Jen was born and raised in Zamboanga City. Graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Office Management with the help of Ateneo University as a Student Assistant. Lived and pursued her dreams in Metro Manila and have been to many places in the Philippines.

She was a Technical Support Specialist for America Online for Etelecare Makati. Then worked for Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. (An MSCI Brand) as an Associate Financial Analyst.  Met her significant other, decided to get married and went back to Zamboanga to start a family with her husband.

” Arlene is currently taking up her PhD in Development Management, Major in Educational Administration in Ateneo de Zamboanga University Graduate School.

She worked with a team on a grant aimed in obtaining funds for the development of Modules for Basic Education Social Studies/History classes. The project titled as Righting History Project, Development of Mindanao Modules for Peace and Culture Integration in curriculum.

She is also a lead facilitator for Table Discussions for UNICEF on Zamboanga City Youth and Peace building. Arlene aims to prioritize peace in her works as she focuses on Conflict Mediation and Conflict resolution and Management.
